Project Description

Hercules is a constellation named after the Roman mythological hero who was adapted from Greek god Heracles – the son of Zeus.  Often referred to as the Gatekeeper of Olympus and the god of strength.  Our first node, Boötes, was named to remind us of our short-term plan to remain grounded and stick first to the basics.  Hercules represents our long-term vision for Public Node – to be an industry-leading nonprofit organization providing for the Stellar network what Public Broadcasting Service provides for radio, television, and people.  It’s a vision for which we have rightfully identified as herculean.  Similar to Boötes being an official Greek watcher, Heracles is an official Greek gatekeeper, both roles of which we believe fit well for validators of a public Stellar ledger.

Update:  Hercules is sponsored by OG Technologies – a well-established business renowned for delivering top-notch IT consulting services and solutions.
